Within this role, the candidate will collaborate with various groups and business partners to extract and analyze their needs and translate them into system specifications by detailing processes and workflows to facilitate technology team understanding. Candidate will engage on identifying areas of improvements, recommending solutions, and providing mentorship to improve business benefits and incrementing operational efficiency.

- High level of English (written and oral) and Spanish are a MUST.

- It’s a plus to have experience in at least one of the following areas: Physical commodity trading life cycle, logistics and storage/inventory management, Invoicing for physical commodities and associated tax implications and/or Settlements & confirmations process for physical and derivative trading.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and evaluate business partners’ objectives, needs and challenges to anticipate requirements and resolve areas of improvements.
- Business requirement gathering and elicitation.
- Facilitate initiatives prioritization based on business needs and requirements.
- Produce and maintain detailed documentation including business processes (as-is and to-be), workflows, use cases and user stories.
- Translate business requirements into clear and concise functional specifications for technical teams.
- Assist technology teams to design solutions that meet business needs by monitoring, assessing, and validating the solutions and deliverables.
- Coordinate and conduct meetings and presentations to share findings, ideas, and solutions across different technical and non-technical collaborators.
- Collecting critical information from meetings with various collaborators.
Key Relationships and Department Overview:
The key relationships of the role will be with the Local and Global IT Teams as well as other Local and Global departments such as IT Infrastructure, Accounting and Operations.
Montevideo IT Trading Team is a growing team owning the Digital Transformation across the Region as well as playing an active role on projects lead from the Headquarters.
